Dalhousie launches Bringing Worlds Together, its campaign for transformational change
Dalhousie announced it is Bringing Worlds Together for transformational change at a series of campaign launch events held across Canada this spring.
Over 1,600 alumni, donors and community members at events in Halifax, Truro, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver came out to hear about Dal’s historic $750M fundraising campaign.
Dalhousie’s President Kim Brooks presided, with special guests joining her on stage at each event. Through the campaign’s three pillars: 1. inspiring future-ready leaders, 2. engaging in high-impact research, and 3. lifting our communities, they spoke about the need to find solutions to the pressing societal challenges we face - and the imperative of doing it on a timeline and a scale that makes a difference now and for future generations.
The promise that the campaign holds, thanks to the support of extraordinary partners and the power of philanthropy, is quite simply to bring worlds together. The campaign will significantly invest in enhanced and new programs, supports, and facilities that will have far-reaching impacts, including scholarships, research, and community clinics.

The whole of Dalhousie engineering is just the one solar car project??
Cool information!
I am so happy to see myself at the start of the video ☺️❤️❤️❤️
John cares for everyone, his genuineness, politeness, respecting everyone no matter how low in the hierarchy they are makes him an amazing human. His attention to detail, and making sure that he is meticulous in his procedures keeping patient safety first makes him a top doc. He is a great mentor, one learns so much brainstorming with him for research projects and publications. It was indeed an honor to learn from him during those long hours in the EP lab, at the patients bedside, and in the device clinics.
So what’s the point of this campaign?
